Cookie Notice
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This Cookie Notice explains how Vojo Media Limited (“Vojo Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on www.vojo-media.com (the “Site”). Read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device so the site can recognise your browser and remember certain information. Websites also use similar technologies — such as your browser’s local storage and session storage — that store information on your device in the same way. In this Notice, references to “cookies” include these similar technologies unless we say otherwise.
Cookies can be set by the website you are visiting (“first-party”) or by another organisation whose content a page uses (“third-party”). They can last only for your current browsing session (cleared when you close the tab) or be retained for a set period (“persistent”).
2. Our current position
We use one non-essential technology on this Site: PostHog product analytics. PostHog is loaded only if you allow it through the cookie preferences banner — we do not treat continued browsing as consent. If you do not allow analytics, PostHog is never initialised. We do not use advertising, marketing, or targeting cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels or third-party advertising scripts.
Because PostHog is consent-gated and cookieless (it stores only an anonymous identifier in your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie), your consent choice is respected immediately and can be withdrawn at any time — see section 6.
3. The technologies we use now
3.1 Strictly necessary / functional storage
We use a small amount of your browser’s session storage and local storage to make the Site work as you expect. This information stays on your device and is not sent to any third party (except where noted below). It does not require consent because it is strictly necessary to provide features you have asked for or to honour your privacy choice.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| vojo-demo-form | Session storage (first-party) | Remembers what you have typed into the “Book a demo” form so your details are not lost if the page reloads before you submit. | Until you close the browser tab |
| vojo-cookie-consent | Local storage (first-party) | Stores your cookie preferences (accepted / rejected, per category) so the banner does not re-appear on every visit and so that consent-gated scripts are loaded or blocked correctly. | Persistent (until you clear your browser storage or change your preferences) |
3.2 Analytics — PostHog (only with your consent)
If you allow analytics cookies, we load PostHog, a privacy-friendly product-analytics tool. PostHog is cookieless on this Site — it stores only an anonymous identifier in your browser’s localStorage, not in any cookie. Event data (pages visited, buttons clicked, form interactions) is sent to PostHog’s EU-hosted servers (eu.i.posthog.com) to help us understand how the Site is used and improve it. No personal identifiers are deliberately sent. If you withdraw consent, PostHog stops capturing immediately.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| PostHog (analytics) | Local storage (third-party, EU-hosted) — only with your consent | Privacy-friendly product analytics: records anonymous page views and interactions so we can see how the Site is used and improve it. Data is sent to eu.i.posthog.com. Never sold or used for advertising. | Persistent (until you clear your browser storage or withdraw consent) |
3.4 Third-party connections
The Site loads its fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). This lets the Site display correctly. Loading these fonts does not set any cookies on your device, but it does involve your browser connecting to Google’s servers, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google as a necessary part of making that connection. Google processes this connection data in line with its own privacy and cookie policies.
We do not embed any other third-party content that sets cookies (such as embedded videos, social media widgets, maps, or advertising tags) on this Site.
4. The cookie categories we recognise
So that you know what to expect, the categories below are the ones our cookie preferences control. Today only the first category is in use; the others are listed so that, if we ever introduce them, you already know how they are treated and how to control them.
- Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and for features you ask for. These cannot be switched off and do not require consent. (In use today — see section 3.1.)
- Functional / preferences — remember choices you make to personalise your experience. Not currently used.
- Analytics — help us understand how the Site is used so we can improve it. Non-essential; only loaded after you explicitly allow it. We use PostHog (cookieless, EU-hosted) — see section 3.2.
- Advertising / targeting — used to build a profile of your interests and show relevant advertising. Not currently used, and we have no plans to use them on this Site.
5. How consent works
If we introduce any non-essential cookie, we will show you a cookie preferences banner before it is set. That banner is built to the following principles:
- Non-essential cookies are blocked until you opt in — we do not treat continued browsing as consent.
- Nothing is pre-ticked. Each non-essential category is off by default and you turn it on yourself.
- “Reject all” is as easy and as prominent as “Accept all” — both are a single click.
- You can accept all categories, reject all non-essential categories, or choose category by category.
- Strictly necessary cookies are always on and are shown as locked, because the Site cannot work without them.
6. How to change your choice or manage cookies
You can change your cookie choices at any time by selecting in the footer of any page, which re-opens the preferences panel. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, block or delete them, and warn you before a cookie is set. Because the controls differ by browser, see your browser’s help pages (for example, the settings for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working.
7. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice from time to time — for example, if we change the technologies we use. Any changes take effect when we post the updated Notice on this page, and we will update the “Last updated” date above. If we introduce non-essential cookies, we will tell you and obtain your consent before they are set.
