Vojo Media Limited (“Vojo Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 (together, the “Data Protection Legislation”).
This policy explains what we do with your personal data when you use our website, platform, or services. We review and update it regularly. If we make significant changes, we will notify you via email or another direct communication and update the “Last updated” date above.

2. What data we collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Contact details (name, email, phone, company name, billing address)
- Account details (username, password, subscription details)
- Payment details (card information, billing history)
- Support enquiries (emails, messages, and records of our interactions with you)
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, operating system)
- Website analytics (clickstream data, referral sources, browsing behaviour)
- Advertising interactions (when and where creatives are deployed, number of displays)
2.3 Information we collect from third parties
- Public sources such as Companies House, LinkedIn, and social media
- Industry partners (DOOH networks, agencies, payment processors)
- Third-party service providers (hosting, security, analytics)
2.4 Data collected via our devices
Our Vojo Harvester and Player devices collect and process:
- Screen-verification data, to confirm that an advertisement was displayed on a specific screen
- Location data identifying where the device is installed
Our devices are designed to verify advertising playback, not to identify members of the public. Where any data collected by a device relates to an identifiable individual, we process it in accordance with this policy.
3. How we use your data
We process your personal data on one or more of the following lawful bases — contractual necessity, legal obligation, legitimate interests, or consent. Each purpose and its lawful basis is set out below.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you have the right to object to that processing (see “Your rights” below). Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; withdrawing consent does not affect any processing we carried out before you withdrew it.
Providing some data is necessary to enter into or perform a contract with us — for example, the account and payment details needed to provide our services. If you choose not to provide that data, we may be unable to provide the relevant service.
Marketing communications
- You will only receive marketing emails if you have opted in.

4. Data sharing & third parties
We share data only with trusted third parties, and only for specific purposes:
- Payment processing — Stripe, to handle payments securely.
- Cloud hosting and storage — DigitalOcean, where our platform and data are hosted.
- IoT connectivity — Golioth, which connects and manages our Harvester and Player devices.
- Mapping — Mapbox, to display screen and site locations.
- Transactional and notification email — Resend, to deliver service emails.
- Business partners and advertisers — aggregated, non-personal insights only, for the operation of the service.
- Legal authorities — where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.
We keep our list of service providers under review and can provide further detail on request. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the United Kingdom (for example in the United States and the European Economic Area). Where we transfer your personal data outside the UK, we make sure an appropriate safeguard is in place:
- we transfer to countries the UK government has decided provide an adequate level of protection, where an adequacy decision applies; or
- otherwise, we put in place the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with any additional measures needed.

6. Data security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including:
- encryption of data in transit (TLS) and appropriate protection for data at rest;
- access controls and authentication, so that staff can access only what they need;
- periodic reviews of our security measures to identify and address risks.
If we become aware of a personal data breach that affects you, we will notify you and the Information Commissioner’s Office where we are required to do so by law.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as we need it:

- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict our processing of your data;
- object to our processing of your data;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
